Mrs. Mary Brendle, 85, of Edwardsville died today at 1:20 a.m. at Rockwood Nursing Home, Troy, where she had been a patient 14 years.
Mrs. Brendle, daughter of John and Barbara Sebon Stich, was born Feb. 14, 1881 at Stallings. Her husband, Harry Brendle, and a son preceded her in death.
Survivors are one son, Harold Brendle of Collinsville, two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Primas of Glen Carbon and Mrs. Ann Rau of Edwardsville; and two grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Visitation will be at Weber Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Sunday. The rosary will be recited in the evening at 8 o'clock.
Funeral Mass will be Monday morning at 9 at the Catholic Newman Chapel, 306 W. Park St. The Rev. Louis Elbow will officiate. Interment will be in Buck Road Cemetery.
