Funeral services for Mrs. Elvora Hare Allen will be held Monday, June 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lovelady First Baptist Church with Rev. Mitchell Kleckley officiating. Interment will follow in the Lovelady Evergreen Cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday evening beginning at 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Elvora Allen Scholarship Fund c/o Lovelady State Bank.
Mrs. Elvora Hare Allen, age 97, of Lovelady, passed away Friday, June 1, 2012 at her residence. She was born January 19, 1915 in Trinity County, Texas and was a resident of Lovelady for most of her lifetime. Mrs. Allen was a member of the T. S. T. A. and the Lovelady First Baptist Church. She was a retired librarian and teacher.
Preceded in death by daughter, Glenda McCown July 15, 2012.
