Darvin David Delk age 69 of Maryville passed away, Sunday, January 13, 2008 at Blount Memorial Hospital.

He was born November 20, 1938 in Fentress County, TN.

He was a retiree of service with the state of Tennessee. He was a veteran of The U.S. Army with service connected disability.

His faith is in the risen Savior Jesus Christ, baptized into the family of faith at Victory Baptist Church but his attendance has dormant due to health complications.

Preceded in death by daughter, Melissa; grandson, Andrew; parents; brother, Duncan Delk; sisters, Doris and Delsie; three step brothers, Donald, Dover and Denny; step sister, Doreen.

He leaves behind his wife Marie Delk; daughters and sons in law, Kimberly and Steve Henry, Donna and Brett Creek, Angel and Ben Barnes and his daughter Anna Bailey; grandchildren, Daniel, Marcus, Gabby, Rachael, Mary, Abbigail, Jada, Darvin and Hogan; a host of nieces and nephews all of which he loved dearly; brothers, Delmer, Dickey and Roger.

Funeral service 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Tyson McKeehan officiating. Entombment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens following the funeral service with military honors. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville, TN.
