DIAL "DICKIE" DELK

Dial "Dickie" Delk, age 78, of Nashville formerly of Fentress County, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Mr. Delk was born May 18, 1935 in Jamestown, Tennessee. He was a retired parts manager for Cadillac in Nashville.

Mr. Delk is survived by two daughters, Vickie D. Delk-LaFever of Jamestown and Dedee Hayes and husband Kelvin of Nashville; son, David Delk of Nashville; brother, Roger Delk of Maryville; six grandchildren; and other loving family members and friends.

Mr. Delk was preceded in death by parents, David Delk and Dona Elva Delk.

Funeral services were held Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Chapel with Sister Joy Langford officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Era Cemetery. Pallbearers included Tom Storie, Cecil Storie, John Griffith, Michael Griffith, Robert Storie and Jerry Storie.

Brown Funeral Chapel of Byrdstown, Tennessee was in charge of services.
