ARTHUR S. ALLEN DEAD.

Arthur S. Allen died this morning at 10:30 o'clock at his home, six miles east of Emporia on Sixth Avenue. Death was caused by leakage of the heart.

Mr. Allen was born March 17, 1867, in Nebraska. He was married June 4, 1903 to Lena Reese (sic), of Emporia. Before moving to his farm eight years ago, he worked for thirteen years in Emporia for J. O. Graham.

Mr. Allen is survived by Mrs. Allen; his father, N. N. Allen, of Emporia; two sisters, Mrs. O. R. Zirnstein, of Emporia; Mrs. William Marhoff, of Portland, Ore., and brother, Willard Allen, who lives four miles east of Emporia, on Logan Avenue. His mother died in 1918. Funeral arrangements have not been made.

FUNERAL OF ARTHUR S. ALLEN

Funeral services for Arthur S. Allen, who died Friday morning, will be held at the Allen home, 109 Walnut Street, at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Rev. William Nuff, pastor of the Adventist Church, will have charge of the services. Interment will be made in Maplewood Cemetery.
