Death Claims Mrs. Jacobson
Mrs. Peter Jacobson, 82, of 218 Lake Shore Drive, resident of Delta County since girlhood, died at 9:05 p.m. Wednesday at the family home.

She was born Ellen Sorenson, Jan 30, 1879, in Copenhagen, Denmark. After coming to the United States she lived in Stonington where her marriage to Mr. Jacobson took place in the Swedish Lutheran Church. They moved to Escanaba immediately following the wedding and she had lived here since that time. Mr. Jacobson died March 26, 1949.

She was a member of the First Methodist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Miss Elizabeth, a member if the staff of Carnegie Public Library, Escanaba, and Mrs. Frank (Marie) Tardel, Santa Rosa, four brothers and one sister in Denmark, Joren, Nels Peter, Wilhelm and Hans Jr., and Mrs. Caroline Clausen, and two brothers in this country, Julius, Seattle, Wash., and Alfred of Portland, Ore.

Friends may call at the Boyce Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Friday. Services will be held at the Boyce chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Bruce J. Brown officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Rest Cemetery.
