Married Margaret Graham in Kentucky in 1808. Their children included:
Jane Burbridge (abt 1810-?)
Forgison aka Forgis Graham Burbridge (1812-?)
Eliza Burbridge (1815-1903)
Morgan Burbridge (1817-?)
Mary Ann Burbridge (1821-?)
Margaret Burbridge (1823-?)
James Burbridge (1826-?)
William Burbridge (1827-?)
Matilda Burbridge (1829-?)
Nancy Burbridge (1830-?)
Married Lovina Cockerel in Kentucky in March 1835. She died less than a year later.
Married Isabella Steele in Montgomery County, IN on 15-Dec-1836
There were children (cousins) with the same given names in each generation of the Burbridge family, especially "William" . Unfortunately, several sources have confused information about this William Burbridge (1788-1867) with that of his first cousin, William Burbridge (1779-1826), who was the son of Rowland's brother, Thomas Burbridge.
Neither William Burbridge was buried in Lena Burial Park, as listed in many records. A veteran's memorial headstone for service in the Black Hawk rebellion (aka the Indian Wars) was installed in Lena Burial Park, purportedly for William (1779-1826), next to his son Jacob's burial site. However, that William died before the period of service the memorial honors (May - June 1832). It was his cousin William (1788-1867) who actually served in the Black Hawk war. After his service, he returned home to Indiana, where he lived until his death in 1867. The biodata and family information in this memorial is the correct information for the William Burbridge memorialized for his service in the Blackhawk War.
