According to The Adam Mitts Family in America by Doris Mitts and James Glacking, page 167, Martha B. Burbridge's father fought in the Revolutionary War. The book states Cyrus and Martha had 12 children: James, Jesse, Jane, Roland, Joseph, Elizabeth, Carlisle, Cyrus, Robert, Martha, Mary A., and John.
