Shirley M Hillegass 52, of Elm St .Allentown, formerly of New Ringgold R. 1 died Thursday in Allentown Osteopathic Medical Center.
She was the wife of William F Hillegass Sr. They where married 32 years in June.
Shirley was a former nurse's aid at Allentown State Hospital for 14 years.
Born in Mount Carmel, Northumberland County, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Ida (Swoyer) Weaver.
Surviving with her husband are five sons, William F Jr. of Emmaus, Richard and Dennis, both of Allentown, Scott of Jacksonville, Fla., and Phillip, at home, two daughters, Patty, wife of Ronald Richie of Bethlehem and Mrs Diane Persa, of Catasauqua. Three brothers; Herman of Allentown, Daniel and Ronald, bothof Bethlehem; two sisters, Cynthia and Geraldine both of Allentown and 12 grandchildren.
