Hazel O'Guynn Eubanks Vandevender, 76, of Pascagoula went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, May 28, 2012 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born July 19, 1935, in Louisville, MS and graduated from Pascagoula High School in 1953. She married her one and only sweetheart, Kirk, on July 22, 1961. Hazel
was an active member of Riverside Baptist Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rodger and Bertha Eubanks. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Kirk, her daughter Sandy McRaney and her husband Will of Winter Garden, FL; and son Bruce and wife Alisa of Las Cruces, NM. She had five grandchildren, Blakeney McRaney Miller and husband Jeffrey, Hadley McRaney, Macy McRaney, Leanne Vandevender and Ryan Vandevender and one great-grandson, Campbell. She is also survived by a sister, Jean Brown of Brookhaven, MS, and sister-in-law Earline Nelson of Enterprise, AL and seven nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 pm at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula. Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 10:00am from the chapel with Rev. Tracy Martin and Dr. Will McRaney Jr
