ANOTHER SAD DEATH OCCURS
Mrs. Charles Burkhart Pneumonia Victim Died Last Night at 7:30 O'Clock at Her Home.
Mrs. Charles Burkhart, formerly known as Miss Flora Isbeque, was born May, 20, 1875 in France, being the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Isbeque, now residents of this city. She passed away at her home in south Macon Tuesday, January 14, 1919 at 7:30 o'clock after a comparative short illness of pneumonia, following an attack of influenza. She was 43 years, 7 months and 24 days of age. She leaves besides her husand a father and mother, three sisters, two brothers, all of Macon.
When 9 years of age she came to America from her native country with her parents and they settled here in Macon, making this their home ever since.
She was married to Charles Burkhart, September 23, 1914, at Brookfield, Mo.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 from the residence. Interment in Woodlawn cemetery.
The deceased was a lovely charachter and loved by all whom came in contact with her. She was kind and considerate in every way and her death, altho' expected, came as a severe shock to her many friends. The deepest and most sincere sympathy is extended to Mr. Burkhart and her immediately family in this trying hour of sorrow.
