Farmer, Dies
Harvey Daniels, 73, a retired Pittsfield farmer, died Thursday at 5: p.m. at a Jacksonville hospital.
Mr. Daniels was born February 10, 1894 in Pike County, the son of George and Frances Daniels. His wife preceded him in death on June 15, 1960.
Two sons survive, Robert and Raymond, both of Alton. Five grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive the deceased.
One sister, Mrs. Ethel Helkey of Pittsfield survives Mr. Daniels.
Mr. Daniels was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge.
The body is at the Plattner Funeral Home in Pittsfield where friends may call at any time.
The services will be held at the funeral home Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Joe Maynard officiating. Burial will be in the West Cemetery in Pittsfield.
