Mrs. W.O. Thomas

MINDEN-Funeral services for Mrs. W.O. Thomas were held on Saturday at 4 p.m. in the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating were Rev. Paul Durbin, Rev. Don Woodard and Rev. L.K. Hartfield and burial was in the Minden Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath.

Mrs. Thomas died on Friday morning in the Minden Medical Center at the age of 81.

She is survived by her husband, William Ollie Thomas of Minden; a daughter, Mrs. Wallace Perryman of Minden; four sons, John Boyd Thomas of Houma, W.C. Thomas of Shreveport, Marlin R. Thomas of Minden and Doyle P. Thomas of Ozona, Tex., two sisters, Mrs. A.O. Norton of Haynesville and Bobbie L. Prather of Minden; four brothers, Joe Prather of Minden, Johnny Prather of Minden, Roy Prather of Sarepta, and Aubrey W. Prather of Shreveport; 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were James M. Thomas, Bill Thomas, James T. Thomas, Johnathan Thomas, Sidney K. Lands, and David Gus Perryman. Grandsons and sons-in-law were honorary pallbearers.

Mrs. Thomas was born in Homer and was a member of Parkway Baptist Church.
