Funeral Today At
Kerlin Chapel For
Mrs. B.L. Thomas

Mrs. B.L. Thomas, 71, succumbed to an illness of several months at her home at 4 o'clock Wednesday morning. Funeral services are to be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Kerlin Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Leonard R. Swinney, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, and the Rev. Rufus H. Zachary, pastor of the First Baptist church officiating. Interment will be in the Arlington cemetery under the direction of the Kerlin Funeral home.

She is survived by her husband, and one son, Ruel Thomas, of Homer; four sisters, Mrs. A.O. Norton of Haynesville, Mrs. W.O. Thomas, Mrs. A.G. Alexander and Miss Bobbie Prather, all of Minden, and five brothers, J.M. and J.D. Prather of Minden; J.G. and A.W. Prather of Shreveport, and H.R. Prather of Sarepta, several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be J.F., J.G., H.R., and A.W. Prather and Marlin R. and W.C. Thomas.
