Mrs. Elizabeth Hamilton, wife of Oscar Hamilton died at midnight last night, March 6, at the Moline Public hospital of Typhoid fever. She was born in Tiffin, Ohio, July 4, 1845, and was the mother of ten children: Clarence of Blairstown, Iowa; Harry M. of Moline, Mrs. Minnie Hartz of Guthrie Center, Iowa; Bertis (deceased), Seth, Guy (deceased), Chauncey, Clinton, Frank and Elmer. guy and Bertis preceded their mother to the other world two years ago.
Mrs. Hamilton came to Moline seven years ago from Blairstown, Iowa and has made many warm friends in this city. She was a loving mother, a good neighbor and a good woman. She was a member of the Third M. E. church, from which place the funeral will be held on Monday morning at 10 o'clock. All but one son are at home. The family has had much sickness during the winter. Chauncey having just been discharged from the hospital and two older brothers have been sick also.
