John S. Fisher, 45, of 112 Plum St., died Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Hospital after a brief illness. He was hospitalized Friday, suffering from a heart ailment.
Mr. Fisher was born and raised in Eau Claire. He had been in business here for a number of years, and at the time of his death was a member of the Fisher Real Estate agency.
Mr. Fisher is survived by his wife; four sons, Gerald, Thomas, John and Arthur; five daughters, Shirley, Mary, Nancy, Ann and Catherine; four brothers, Edward T., Frank, William, and Arthur, all of Eau Claire, and five sisters, Mrs. Ambrose Smith of La Crosse, Mrs. Thomas McInnis of Eau Claire, Mrs. Mathias Nunke of Eau Claire, Mrs. Clarence Jaster of Milwaukee and Mrs. Arnold Bauch of Eau Claire.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 8:30 a.m. from the Golden Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. from St. Patrick's church. The service will be a solemn requiem high mass.
Friends may call at the funeral home this evening and Wednesday afternoon and evening. Rosary devotions will be at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
