Anthony Sulentic
Anthony Sulentic, 84, of Albia, died Monday June 1, 1998, at the Monroe County Hospital. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Rev. Thomas Doyle officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Albia.
He was born Aug. 2, 1913, in Hocking, to Milen Sulentich and Eva Sulentich Sulentic. He married Rita F. Carr in September of 1940. He was in the Navy, was a member of St. Mary's parish, and the American Legion in Albia.
He is survived by one son, William M. Sulentic of Cedar Rapids; and one daughter, Mary Anne Sulentic of Des Moines.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Visitation will begin at 2 p.m., Wednesday, at Gilbert-Nordstrom Funeral Homes, South Chapel, with a Christian wake service to be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday evening.
