The wedding of Mr. and Mrs. George Joseph White in Washington, D.C., on February 28, 1942, is of interest here to many friends of the bride who was before her marriage Miss Mary Sulentic, daughter of Mrs. Michael Sulentic and the late Mr. Sulentic.

Miss Sulentic has been in Washington for the past several years as a secretary for the Railroad Retirement board. She was graduated from Albia high school and attended Iowa Success school in Ottumwa, Iowa.

Mr. White is a member of the 121st Engineers, United States army. He is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Joseph White of Washington.

For her wedding Mrs. White wore a nile green ensemble. Her hat was a spring straw British tan and her accessories matched. A shoulder bouquet of bronze orchids completed her costume. Mrs. White was attended by Mrs. Macbeth Y. Weber, matron of honor, who wore a corsage of pink rosebuds and blue forget-me-nots and by little Miss Elizabeth Lynn Weber who serverd as junior bridesmaid and carried an old-fashioned nosegay of sweetheart rosses and forget-me-nots.

Following the ceremony which was attended by 25 or 30 friends, Mrs. Weber served a wedding luncheon where pictures were made of the bride and groom cutting their wedding cake. Mr. and Mrs. White went to New York for the wedding trip.
