of a fractured skull at 2:15
p.m. in Binghamton General
Hospital. His wife, Bertha,
is in the same hospital with
fractures of the right arm.
left ankle and right leg, a
scalp laceration, concussion
and traumatic shock. Her
condition is given as criti-
