Ms. Ruby is survived by a son, Paul "Frankie" Shirley and wife Faye; daughter, Billie Rose Ferrino; 2 brothers, Henry L. Baygents and wife Rachel and Bodie Baygents; sister-in-law, Ina Mae Baygents; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Preceded in death by her husband, William Oliver Sumlin; parents, Walter W. and Phoebe McMichael Baygents; daughter, Ruby Jewel Sumlin; grandson, Paul Shirley, Jr. 3 brothers, James, Erastus and Leonard Baygents; sister, Frances Busby.
