Mrs. Jack Wright Dies At Marland.
MARLAND, July 13-Mrs. Jack Wright, 57, died at her home here about 12:15 a.m.
Tuesday of heart trouble she underwent a major operation eight days ago. Mrs.
Wright underwent an appendictomy a week ago Saturday at Ponca City and was
brought to her home here Sunday. Alta* Mae Sanford, was born October 13, 1880*
at Kilbourn, Iowa, where she lived until she was 14 years of age. At that time she
moved to Southwest City, Mo., and in 1902 married Neil Blubaugh* to which union
were three children, Erchel, who died in infancy, Earl Blubaugh of Marland, and
Merl Blubaugh of Ponca City, Blubaugh died a few years later. In 1911 she married
Jack Wright of Marland. Other suvivors include; three step children, Mrs. Eula
Edmond of Tonkawa, Tony Wright and Wilford Wright of Marland; five brothers,
Frank Sanford of Marland, Elmer Sanford of Pueblo, Colo., Ted Sanford of Broken
Bow, Neb., Sam Sanford of Tonkawa and Wilkin Sanford of Rogerville, Mo.; one
sister, Mrs. Grace Lyon of Broken Bow, Neb.
