Frank Washington Sanford, 86, of Route 2, Red Rock, died Monday evening in Perry Memorial Hospital after a short illness. A resident of Oklahoma since 1930, Sanford
was born Feb. 5, 1876, at Kilbourn, Iowa, where he attended school. He later moved
to Nebraska and then to Colorado, where he spent the greater part of his life. He
settled in the Bressie Community 32 years ago and had made his home with a
nephew, Earl Blubaugh, for the past two years. He is survived by a brother, Ted, of California and 23 nieces and nephews. His parents, two sisters and three brothers preceded him in death. Interment will be in Bressie Cemetery.
