Samuel S. Sanford, Formerly of Tonkawa, Okla., Passes Here at 61.
Samuel S. Sanford, 61, of 1907 South Wichita, died early Friday in a local hospital following a short illness. Born in Kilbourn, Ia., he came here 18 months ago from Tonkawa, Okla. He was a dye finisher for Aero Parts and a member of the Catholic
Church.
Survivors, include his wife, Almyra; five daughters, Mrs. F. A. Davis, Wann, Okla.,
Mrs. Lucile Rhodd, Mrs. E. L. Murray and Mrs. G. E. Wright, all of Ponca City, Okla.,
and Mrs. A. R. Ranzan route 1, Wichita, and three sons, Charles S., Ponca City,
Samuel S. Sanford, Jr., and Ben, both in service overseas. Interment will be in the
Tonkawa cemetery.
