Vivian Malinda Gill, 85, of Brown County, died at 4:09 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2012 at her home.
She is survived by her children, Joseph French (Teresa) Gill of Seattle, Washington, Anita Marie (Donald) Davis of Columbus, Rodney Allen (Geneva) Gill of Brown County, Sharon Kay (John) Huber of Brown County, Conan Doyle Gill of Brown County and Cecilia Malinda (Bill) Scheidt of Columbus; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Wiley Gill; and a daughter, Teresa Ann Gill.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home in Nashville with the Rev. Frank Helton officiating. Burial will be at Christianburg Cemetery. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Brown County Humane Association.

Vivian Malinda Gill, age 85, of Brown County, went home to be with the Lord at 4:09 P.M. on Friday afternoon at her residence.
Born May 9, 1927 in Bartholomew County, she was the daughter of Arnold and Susie (Carmichael) Hatton.
She formerly was a cook at the Nashville House. She loved crocheting and reading. She had attended Mt. Nebo Church earlier in her life.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Joseph French Gill (Teresa), of Seattle, Washington, Anita Marie Davis (Donald), of Columbus, Indiana, Rodney Allen Gill (Geneva), Brown County, Indiana, Sharon Kay Huber (John), of Brown County, Conan Doyle Gill of Brown County and Cecilia Malinda Scheidt (Bill), of Columbus, twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Wiley Gill, daughter, Teresa Ann Gill, two brothers, Albert and Arthur Hatton and two sisters, Velma Bowers and Stella Alvey.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home in Nashville with Rev. Frank Helton officiating. Burial will follow in the Christiansburg Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial contributions be given to the Brown County Humane Society, 128 State Road 135 South, Nashville, Indiana 47448.
