Mary Evaline "Massie" Sarvis was born January 25, 1887 in Horry County, South Carolina, the second child of James S. Norton Sarvis and Mary Jane Lovett Sarvis. She had nine siblings and two half-siblings.

Massie died at age 12 on August 18, 1899 and is buried next to her mother in the Martin Cemetery in Horry County. I hope someone can add photos of this mother and daughter.
