Funeral services for Mrs. Cecelia Tangeman, 82, of Rock Rapids were held his afternoon (Monday) at Peace Lutheran church with Rev Paul Lemke officiating. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery under the direction of Jongewaard-Roste Funeral Home of Rock Rapids.

She died Saturday, January 9, at McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Born July 9, 1899, in McLean County, Illinois, she married Arthur Tangeman on September 8, 1920. They farmed in Osceola County for several years and lived briefly near Spirit Lake and also at Sibley.

They moved to Rock Rapids 23 years ago. He died in 1979. She was a resident of Rosewood Heights.

Survivors include four sons. Donald, Verndale, Minnesota, Robert, Monroe, Maynard, Hebron, Indiana, and Dale, Sioux Falls, four daughters, Mrs. Alvin (Arlene) Behrens, Estherville, Mrs. Paul (Velda) Moreau, Spirit Lake, Mrs. Donald (Vivian) Bunte, Rock Rapids, and Mrs. Lloyd (Betty) Ingvall, Estherville, and one brother, Theodore Laub, Kewanee, Illinois.
