F.R. Reinecker

Ferdinand Robert Reinecker died at his home, about one mile north east of Bellville, on Monday, March 15th at 6:45 p.m., aged 70 years and 6 days. He had been in ill health for many years. There was a large funeral and many beautiful flowers, at the service, which was conducted by Rev. J. K. Poch on Tuesday, March 16th at 3 p.m. Interment was made at Pilgrims Rest.

Mr. Reinecker was born March 9, 1856 near Danzig, Germany, and was brought by his parents to this country when he was three years old. Surviving are his wife; three sons, M.W. Reinecker of Wallis, E. E. Reinecker of Bellville, and Herbert Reinecker, livinag at home; by two daughters, Mrs. Herman Klostermann of Bellville, and Miss Emma Reinecker of Galveston; three Brothers, Albert of Wallis, Emil of Houston and Wm. Reinecker of Bellville; six sisters, Mrs. G. T. Bell of Bellville, Mrs. August Mueller of Valley Mills, Mrs. Adolph Neumann of Sempronius, Mrs. Herman Frank, Mrs. Wm. Frank and Mrs. Fritz Schroeder of the Piney neighborhood. There are also two grandchildren, other relatives, and many friends. Mr. Reinecker was a member of the Lutheran Church and of Schiller Lodge No. 11, O.D.H.S. In his death Austin County loses another of its old citizens, highly respected for his upright character and many other good qualities.
