Mr. Marion Allen James, 76, died suddenly Wednesday (May 9, 2012) at his residence.

He was a native of Manor and had lived all of his life in Ware County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy B. James, Sr. and Rosa Steedley James; a sister, Mildred Gilliard and a brother, W.D. James.

He was a member of Camp Branch Church of God of Prophecy and was retired from B & M Wood Products.

Survivors include four sisters, Louise Macik (husband Nick) and Imogene Gilliard (husband James) both of Jacksonville, FL, Lucille Hardeman of Oxford, GA and Joyce "Judy" Saliba (husband Ray) of Valdosta, GA; seven brothers, Troy B. James, Jr. and Morris James (wife Esther) both of Jacksonville, FL, Carey James (wife Theta) and Billy James (wife Geri) both of Manor, Kenneth James (wife Joyce) of Live Oak, TX, Tommy James (wife Wanda) and Terry James (wife Carolyn) both of Waycross; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday (May 12, 2012) at Camp Branch Church of God of Prophecy. Burial will be in Camp Branch Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the Church Friday night from 6 until 8. Music Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
