Mrs. Lucille James Hardeman, 87, of Oxford, Georgia died early Friday morning at Golden Manor Senior Living in Lawrenceville, Georgia after an extended illness. She was born in Manor, Georgia to the late Troy Burton James and Rosa Steedley James. Mrs. Hardeman lived in Oxford, Georgia for many years before moving to Lawrenceville. She was a homemaker and a member of Full Gospel Holiness Church in Monroe, Georgia. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Hardeman, and her brothers and sisters, Troy James, W.D. James, Carey James, Marion James, Tommy James, Morris James, Louise Macik, and Mildred Gilliard.

Mrs. Hardeman is survived by four children, Arlene Hanson of Flowery Branch, Georgia, Mitchell O'Berry and his wife Connie of Conyers, Georgia, Ray Lynn and his wife Amanda of Cumming, Georgia, Terri Rachels of Griffin, Georgia, thirteen grandchildren, Tim Wright, Kevin Hanson, Melissa Lynn, Justin Lynn, Landon Lynn, Cavanaugh Lynn, David Rachels, Amy Rachels, Hunter Wehunt, Austin Wehunt, McKenna Wehunt, Glen Hadaway, Ricky Hadaway, her special friend and caretaker, Bill McKeithan, two sisters, Imogene Gilliard, Joyce Saliba and her husband Ray, and three brothers, Kenneth James and his wife Joyce, Terry James and his wife Carolyn and Billy James, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday in the Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Camp Branch Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery in Manor, Georgia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m., on Monday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Marcus Stroke and Neuroscience Center at Grady Memorial Hospital, 80 Jesse Hill Jr. Drive S.E., Atlanta, Georgia 30303.
