Irma Isabelle Beckley, 96, formerly of Tiffin Rd, Fremont passed away on Friday, August 20, 2010 at Bethesda Care Center. She was born March 10, 1914 to Charles R. and Maggie M. (Wise) Hausman.

She graduated from Fremont Ross High School. Irma married Clyde "Bud" Fought and they had three daughters. She then married William "Bill" H. Beckley Jr. on December 7, 1968 in Beaver Falls, PA and he proceded her in death on December 2, 2002.

She was employed as a line inspector at Union Carbide for thirty years and retired in 1971. Irma was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She was a member and Past President of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #2947 and District Nine President. She was also a member of Military Order of Cootie (M.O.C.A.) She was an avid reader and enjoyed creating yarn and canvas pictures.

Irma is survived by her daughters, Ruth Gray, Port Clinton and Carol Sue (Larry) Kessler, Fremont, OH; step children Ruth Ann Havens of California, Linda (Bobby)Lagrou, Joyce (David) Mapus, Thomas Beckley, all of Fremont, OH; siblings, Willis Hausman, Inez (Cal) Smith, both of Fremont, OH, Lois Williams, Bettsville, OH, Rita (Bob)Justi, Monroeville, OH, Alice Lauer of Florida; thirteen granchildren, thirty-seven great grandchildren and thirty great great grandchildren.

She is procesed in death by her parents; husband William "Bill" H. Beckley Jr; daughter Mary Schade; brothers Eldred, Clifford, Donald, and Ralph Hausman; sisters Margaret Cochey and Myrtle Ackerman.

Visitation: Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath-Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State Street, Fremont, OH.

Service: Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home
