Alice A. Lauer, age 78, of Fort Myers passed away Friday, May 6, 2011 at Joanne's House at Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs, FL. Born in Fremont, OH, Alice and her husband relocated to Ft. Myers, FL in 1977.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nickolas, in 1997, and by her great-granddaughter Katie Phillips in 2002.

Alice is survived by her six children, Brenda, Joseph, Michael, Robert, Anthony and Matthew; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Services were private. Interment was in Lee Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Hope Hospice 9470 Health Park Cir. Fort Myers, FL 33908 or to the Alzheimer's Association . 9365 U.S. Hwy. 19 North, Suite B Pinellas Park, FL 33782.
