Mack D. Maxwll, 84, of Beaverton, Michigan passed away after a short illness, on Wednesday, October 14, 2009. He was born on July 4, 1925 in Hope, Michigan to Robert and Alfreda (McDaniel) Maxwell.
He married Flossie L. Morgan on February 4, 1948 in Olson, Michigan. She proceeded him in death in 2004.
He was employed @ Dow Chemical as a welder for 40 years, retiring in 1982. Mack had lived in Gladwin county since 1969, previously residing in Hope, and was a member of The First Presbyterian Church, Beaverton.
He is survived by his sons: Gaylord (Patricia) Maxwell of Beaverton; Jeffery Maxwell of Corsicana, Texas; 5 Grandchildren & 11 Great Grandchildren; brother: Pat Maxwell of Big Rapids & several neices & nephews.
He is preceeded in death by his parents; his wife Flossie; grandchildren: William Maxwell & Jodie Maxwell; 4 sisters and 1 brother.
