Alfreda F. Bunting, 89, of Midland, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, in the Midland Hospital Center.
Born Jan. 21, 1894, in Meredith, she moved to Gladwin as a child and to Hope in 1911.
The former Alfreda McDaniel was married to Robert Maxwell March 22, 1913, in Hope. He died Nov. 30, 1962. She married Arthur Bunting in June 1968 and moved to Midland. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren.
Besides her husband, she is survived by 4 sons, Patrick Maxwell of Chippewa Lake, Mac Maxwell of Beaverton, George Maxwell of Hope and Orville Bunting of Midland; 5 daughters, Mary Valiere of Beaverton, Margaret Lesser, Mrs. Dayton (Anna) Matthews, Mrs. Wayne (Helen) Killingbeck and Mrs. George (Rivella) Burzyck of Midland; 3 sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Patten of Hersey, Mrs. Sarah Wiedmann and Mrs. Iva Ervans of Midland; 21 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Rites were held Jan. 28, in the Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Paul Stauffer officiated and burial was in New Hope Cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 2-9/1983.
