Beulah was the daughter of William Fletcher (Bonch) and Levy Jewel (Baker) Bennett. She married Roy J. "Woody" Wood on May 6, 1945 in Weatherford. He preceded her in death on March 1, 1999.
Beulah retired from GMI and was a member of the Oak Street Baptist Church in Graham. She lived in Graham until her health necessitated a move in 2006 to Corpus Christi area with her daughter.
Survivors at time of death included one daughter, Sheri Yvonne Black and husband, Danny of Orange Grove, Texas; one son, Glen "Woody" Wood and wife, Tami of Zephyr, Texas; three brothers, Samuel D. Bennett and wife, Inge of Spring, Texas, William "Pete" Bennett of Bryson, and Jimmy K. Bennett and wife, Claudia of Mineola, Texas
Celebration of Life services were held on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Loyall Watkins of Oak Street Baptist Church officiating.
