Maye Elizabeth (Adams) Poole, age 70, of Gassville, Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012 in Mountain Home. She was born June 3, 1941 in Gassville, Arkansas to Austin and Zada Irene (Tilly) Lackey.
Mrs. Poole married L.D. Adams April 6, 1956 in Mountain Home, Arkansas, she later married Lovelle Poole February 14, 1991 in Calico Rock, Arkansas. She was an assembly line worker for Baxter Lab. She was a member of the Full Gospel Church in Mountain View, Arkansas.
Mrs. Poole is survived by a son: Lynn Dale Adams of Mountain Home, Arkansas, three daughters: Wanda Goebel and husband Victor of Gassville, Arkansas, Hazel Harvey and husband Donald of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Donna Corter and husband Johnny of Norfork, Arkansas, four sisters: Margaret Roberts of Rae Valley, Arkansas, Jessie Delaney of Calico Rock, Arkansas, Linda Haynes of Pocahontas, Arkansas and Carol Haynes of Lake Way, Arkansas, a brother: Troy Lackey of Summit, Arkansas, her first husband: L.D. Adams, eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, second husband: Lovelle Poole, two sisters and two grandchildren: Elizabeth Villneff and Joseph Whitlow.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2012 at the Galatia Assembly of God Church in Norfork, Arkansas with Brother Tim Clark officiating. A visitation will be Sunday from Noon until 9:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Roller Funeral Home. Interment will be in Galatia Cemetery in Norfork.
