Visitation today for Zada Rogers, 70
Visitation for Zada Irene Lackey Rogers of Gassville will be 5-8 p.m. today at Kirby Funeral Home. Mrs. Rogers, 70, died Tuesday (Feb. 18) at the White River Convalescent Center at Calico Rock.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Galatia Church at Norfork with the Rev. Gail Wooten officiating. Burial will be in Galatia Cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.
Survivors include one son, Troy Lackey of Gassville; six daughters, Maye McDonald and Judy Loosey, both of Calico Rock, Margaret Rogers of Gassville, Jessie Delaney of Jordan, Carol Haynes of Old Joe and Linda Mitchell of Pocohontas; two brothers, Jim Tilley of Cotter and Frank Tilley of Gassville; two sisters, Mary Jane Bowman of Calico Rock and Hazel Payne of Martin Springs; 24 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John C. and Martha Elizabeth Barton Tilley; her husband; one daughter, four brothers; and one sister.
Mrs. Rogers, a homemaker, was a lifetime resident of the area. She was born Nov. 24, 1915 at Sylamore. She was Protestant.
