She was born December 23, 1919, in Fort Worth , TX, to Guthrie and Allie Thomas Layne. Marjorie married Charles Golan II on April 17, 1937 IN Cameron, TX. Charles died on November 29, 1999.
Marjorie moved from Lyons, IL to Winamac in 1979. She returned to the Chicago area to be close to her daughters and son.
She enjoyed quilting, cooking, baking and reading.
Marjorie had worked for Sears Roebuck & Co. as an office support staff employee.
