DEATH COMES TO MRS. J.B. GOSSAGE

Mrs. Mollie E. Gossage 85 died at her home of 201 N. Moore St at 6:20 A.M. today. She had made her home in Ottumwa practically all her life and was born in Agency; the daughter of Phillip and Jan Conley April 6, 1857.

She was married to Jerome B. Gossage September 14, 1876 at Ottumwa. He preceded her in death March 9, 1917.

Mrs. Gossage was a member of the Finley Ave. Baptist church, the Daughters of Veterans tent No. 12, the R.C. No 327 and the Enterprise Rebecca Lodge No. 132.

Surviving are two daughters; Mrs. Earl Martin of Alene, Idaho and Mrs. A.B. Duckworth of Bloomfield; three sons; S.D. Gossage of Tulsa, Oklahoma ,G.C. Gossage of Miami, Florida and H.G. Gossage of Des Moines, Iowa; 10 grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren; a sister Mrs. Alice Hill of Ottumwa and two brothers; P.R. Conley of Ottumwa and Sherman Conley of Los Angeles, California.

Besides her husband; she was preceded in death by three daughters and 2 sons in infancy.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mollie E. Gossage will be held at the Johnson funeral home at 2:30 p.m. Friday and at 3:00 p.m. in the Finley Ave. Baptist church conducted by the Rev. John Hastie. Burial will be at Shaul Cemetery.

Rebecca Lodge No. 132 will conduct the graveside service. Pallbearers will be Ray Hill. Albert Groger, Kenneth Ellis, Tom Denny, Emerson Riley and George Swope.
