ATHENS, LA. Funeral services for Mary Adams, 95, will be held at 3 pm Monday, March 11, 2002 at the First United Methodist Church of Athens. Officiating Will be Bro. Charles Penuell and Bro. Jeff Hoffman assisting. Burial will be at Salem Cemetery in Athens under direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Arcadia.
Mrs. Adams was born on May 3, 1906 and died on Saturday, March 9, 2002. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Athens, The Order of the Eastern Star (OES) and the Athens Garden Club. She enjoyed ceramics and quilting at the Senior Citizens Center in Athens.
Mrs. Adams is preceded in death by her husband:
