Barbara Jane Skaggs, 80, of Columbus, Ohio, departed this life and went into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2004.

She was born March 12, 1923, in Charleston, Kanawha County, and was the daughter of the late Arch and Minnie Hudnall.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cecil; sister, Rebecca Bailey; and brother, Raymond Hudnall. She was a member of Parsons Avenue Baptist Church in Columbus.

Her survivors include her sons, Stephen and Linda Skaggs and Terry and Linda Skaggs; two grandsons; one granddaughter; five great-granddaughters; brother, Robert Hudnall; sister, Kathelene Robson.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 19 2004, at O'Dell Funeral Home in Montgomery with the Rev. Lewis Villers officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens at Glasgow. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
