Edward Leon "Jack" Taylor - 68, of Pratt, died April 16, 1987, in Montgomery General Hospital after an apparent heart attack.
He was a retired carman for the Chessie System and was secretary-treasurer and engineer for Pratt Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of Brotherhood of Railway Carmen and was a lifelong resident of the Pratt area.
Surviving wife, Ocie, [half] brothers, Robert Hudnall of Holly Grove, Raymond Hudnall of Charleston, [half] sisters, Kathleen Robson of Boomer, Rebecca Bailey and Barbara Scaggs, both of Columbus, Ohio.
Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery, with the Rev. Ernest White Sr., officiating. Burial will be in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow, with graveside rites. Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
