Clara H. Brandli, 96, a native of Wood-Ridge, N.J., former resident of Arlington, Vt., and a resident of Fairhope, died Friday, July 22, 2011 at home.

She attended New Jersey Schools.

She was a member of the Federated Church of East Arlington, Vt., for over 50 years where she had taught Sunday School, had served as church secretary and had served on the Board of Deacons.

She moved to Fairhope in 1981 and joined Trinity Presbyterian Church.? She would spend winters in Alabama and summers in Vermont.

She was a member of Eastern Star Red Mountain Chapter #41 in Arlington and served as Grand Adah in the 1970s.?She was also Grand Representative to Alabama.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing bridge and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Meta Janeske; her husbands, Harold Austin Zimmermann, Thurston Hulet and Henry Brandli.

Survivors include daughter, Janice (Mark) Redelberger of Grain Valley, Mo.; son, Harold K. (Patricia) Zimmermann of Fairhope; five grandchildren, Matthew (Carolyn) Zimmermann of Wisconsin, John (Lawanna) Zimmermann of Florida, Jennifer Coppage of Mobile, Susie (Ryan) George and Kent (Cathy) Redelberger, all of Kansas City, Mo.; and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 29 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Fairhope. A reception will follow. Interment will be held in Arlington, Vt., at a later date.

The family requests memorial donations be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church of Fairhope.
