Two-Year-Old Boy Dies After Peanut Lodges In Throat

The youngster was rushed to Oaklawn hospital for treatment and during the trip the mother breathed into the youngster's mouth forcing air into the lungs until the hospital could be reached. The child was admitted at 3:55 o'clock and died at 4:05 o’clock.

The remains were removed to the Court Funeral home, here.

Born April 26, 1948 in Battle Creek, the boy is survived by his parents; three sisters. Mrs. Richard Johnson of Battle Creek, Judy and Carol Capman at home: four brothers. Sidney and Theodore of Battle Creek, Richard and Lloyd at home: the maternal grandfather, John
Ritter of Sturgis and the paternal grandfather, Henry Capman of Kalamazoo.

The body is at the residence, where friends may call. A prayer service will be held there for the relatives at 1:00 p. m. Thursday. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 p. m. in the Court funeral home, with the Rev. Ned Curtiss of the Church of God officiating. Interment will be in Oakridge cemetery.
