Mrs. Robert A. Mittelstaedt, 57, who had been in poor health for some time, died of a complication of ailments at 6:15 o'clock this morning at her home on route 2, Marshfield.
The body will lie in state at the Rembs Funeral Home from 10 o’clock Saturday morning to 4 o‘clock that afternoon, when it will be taken to the Mittelstaedt home.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home and at 2 o‘clock at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hewitt, the Rev S. E. Rathke officiating. Interment will be made at Hewitt.
Mrs. Mittelstaedt, nee Clara Marie Greve, was born in the Town of Brillion, Calumet County, Dec. 12, 1885, and received her education there. She was married at the same place to Robert Albert Mittelstaedt.
After their marriage. Mr. and Mrs. Mittelstaedt continued to make their home in the Town of Brillion until 1916, when they moved to Athens. In 1936 they came to Marshfield and had since made their home here.
Surviving besides her husband are eight children, Cpl. Earl Mittelstaedt of Camp Shelby, Miss., who is expected here for the funeral; Mrs. Charles (Norma) Cliver, route 4, Marshfield; Clara, Verna, Erma, and Floyd Mittelstaedt, all of Marshfield; and Wilbert and Doris Mittelstaedt, both at home. Another daughter, Dorothy, died at the age of two in 1925.
Also surviving are her stepfather, Albert Duchow, route 5, Marshfield; two sisters. Mrs. Henry (Laura) Koerth and Mrs. Herman (Anna) Jandry, both of Brillion; a brother, Robert Greve, also of Brillion; and one grandchild.
A sister, Mrs. Walter (Elsie) Bastian of Brillion, died in 1934.
