Mrs. Lora Koerth, 91, of Route 2, Brillion, died Saturday at Chilton Village after a lingering illness.
The former Lora Greve was born Jan. 9, 1889, in the Town of Brillion, daughter of Heinrich and Ann Bartz Greve. On March 3, 1909, she and Henry Koerth were married in Kasson. The couple farmed in the Brillion area, Mr. Koerth died Aug. 6, 1942.
She was a member of St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church, Brillion, and was an honorary member of Its Ladies Aid.
Surviving are four daughters,
Mrs. Charles (Meta) Krahn and
Mrs. Ellen Raddloff, both of Brillion;
Mrs. David (Aurella) Swanson, Richmond, Calif., and
Mrs. Lloyd (Janet) Kalies, Route 2, Brillion; two sons,
Clarence, Route 1, Brillion, and
Orlo, Route 2, Brillion;
20 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchild ren and three great-greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, three sisters and a brother.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St, Bartholomew Church. The Rev. Harley Kopltsky, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be In Bluff Cemetery, Brillion. Friends may call at Wieting Funeral Home after 4 p.m. today until 10 a.m. Tuesday and at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services.
