She was born on April 27, 1925 to Garvin and Inez Brown in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Marjorie graduated from Shortridge High School in 1943. During World War II, she volunteered with the USO. After the war, she married Army veteran William Maloney on July 3, 1947. They raised two children, Debra Sue and Timothy Patrick, at their home in Speedway.
During her adult life, Marjorie was a mother, housewife, and worked outside the home, mostly in retail. After her marriage she worked at L S Ayres & Co., W.H. Block & Co., and later managed Roth's, a women's clothing store.
Marjorie loved playing cards, traveling, eating out, and spending time with her family. She was a devoted mother and wife, and beloved by her family and friends. She was a big fan of the classic variety shows of the early television era – Milton Berle, Dean Martin, Red Skelton, and Carol Burnett.
Marjorie is survived by her husband, William John Maloney, her children Debra Sue (Daniel Fox) of Columbus, IN, and Timothy Patrick (Deborah Adams) of Nashville, IN, her sisters Lenore Ruth Ellis of Las Vegas (1920-2013)(FAG #115951280), NV, and Betty Jean Piccione of Indianapolis, and her grandson Aaron Daniel Fox of San Francisco, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Harold William Brown (1918-1944) and Raymond Robert 'Bob' Brown (1928-2003).
