Lenore Ellis, 93, a resident of Las Vegas for 34 years, passed away July 31, 2013. She was born in Brooklyn, Ind., in 1920, and graduated from Shortridge High School in 1938. Her greatest joys in life were her husband, family, friends and her YMCA workout buddies. Lenore was the best wife, mother and grandmother anyone could ask for and will always be remembered. She was preceded in death by her sister, Margie Maloney; her brothers, Harold and Bob Brown; and her parents, Garvin and Inez Herzog Brown. She is survived by her husband, of 73 years, Carl; sister, Betty Piccione; two sons, Steve and Dan; four grandchildren, Chip, Kevin, Bryan and Kelli; and many great-grandchildren. Lenore was laid to rest at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City. God bless this wonderful lady.
