Betty thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and beloved dogs. Travel, gardening, nature hikes and attending musical performances also brought great joy to her life. As an active member and volunteer at Saints Peter & Paul Cathedral in Indianapolis her faith and catholic beliefs were an important part of her daily life.
For many years Betty was a dedicated homemaker, wife and mother. She leaves us with an abundance of wonderful memories of family gatherings, vacations to the beach, ice skating at the Coliseum, scouting excursions, picnics and lazy summer days of swimming at the Riviera Club.
Betty worked part time for a number of years while raising her family and later resumed a successful full time career in accounting. She began her accounting career working for the Churchman Steel Company and then at the Ferguson Steel Company, where she ultimately retired in 2000.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Michelle Piccione-Soultz (Kevin Soultz) and grandson, Andrew Soultz; her son, Steven Piccione (Heather), and grandchildren Emma, Hannah and Elliott.
A gathering of family and friends from 1-3pm with memorial service to follow at 3pm will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery on Saturday, August 29, 2015.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society for Hamilton County, Noblesville, Indiana.
