Services for George Trammell, 70, resident of the Dayton area the past 23 years, were held at Scott's Funeral Chapel Feb. 24 with the Rev. Delbert Dow officiating. Interment was at the Dayton IOOF Cemetery. Mr. Trammell died Feb. 21, 1964.
He was born in Texas Feb. 16, 1894, and as an infant moved with his parents to Arkansas. He married Lilly Faye Smith in Salado, Ark., Jan. 6, 1924. In 1926 they moved to Utah, where he mined coal, and in 1934 returned to Arkansas to farm. Dayton became their home in 1940.
