The member of the Granbury Church of Christ died Wednesday, May 19, 2004, in Levelland. She was born July 30, 1914, in Newnata, Ark.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Monk Allen; second husband, Max Ickleberry; stepson, Herman Allen; brothers and sisters, Girtha Vines, Harlen Copeland, Stanley Copeland, Hubert Copeland, Herbert Copeland, Wilburn Copeland, Ernest Copeland, Margaret Hambright, Clarcie Barber and Stella Gray.
Survivors are son, Thomas "Jack" Allen Jr. of Lubbock; sister, Nettie Allen of Granbury; brother, Melvin "Toe" Copeland of Longview; one granddaughter and one stepgrandson, two great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Wiley Funeral Home of Granbury is in charge of funeral arrangements.
